MAC Island Construction – COVID-19 Prevention Protocols

To ensure we have a healthy and safe environment at all times during your new home construction in Greater Victoria, we have adopted a series of protocols for our crews to follow. Our protocols align with the COVID-19 – Standardized Protocols for All Canadian Construction Sites.

To ensure our clients, team members, contractors, suppliers, and their families are safe, we are:

• Asking anyone who feels sick to stay home
• Communicating effective handwashing practices
• Increasing our cleaning procedures in the office and on the job sites
• Encouraging team members to work remotely (if possible)

We are also asking our customers and crew to inform us if they’re feeling ill, have recently travelled outside of the country, or have had possible exposure to someone who has tested positive for the coronavirus. With this information, we can make informed decisions on a case-by-case basis.

We’re grateful to live, work, and play in an informed community of people who understand that while today’s measures might be extreme, in the not-too-distant future, we’ll be grateful that everyone participated.
